Intelliglow Solutions delivered a complete ICT infrastructure upgrade for Kanola Hospital in Anuradhapura, covering structured data networking, IP telephony, hospital-wide Wi-Fi, and a CCTV surveillance system. The project was designed to modernize the hospital’s communications and security infrastructure in support of improved patient care and administrative efficiency.
Client Requirements / Challenges
Healthcare environments present unique challenges in ICT deployment, including the need for non-disruptive installation within active clinical areas, strict electromagnetic compatibility requirements near medical equipment, and the need for highly reliable, low-latency network connectivity for clinical applications. The hospital also required 24/7 operational continuity throughout the installation period.
Solution Delivered
Intelliglow Solutions planned and executed a phased installation strategy to minimize disruption to hospital operations. Structured cabling was laid across all wards, nursing stations, administrative offices, and public areas. The IP telephony system was configured to support both internal clinical communications and external calls. High-performance Wi-Fi access points were deployed to support mobile clinical devices and patient connectivity. A CCTV system was installed across all key areas including entrance points, corridors, nursing stations, and car parks, with centralized recording and remote monitoring capability.

The modernized infrastructure significantly enhanced inter-departmental communication speed and reliability. The CCTV system improved safety monitoring across the hospital campus.
